Gerringong Surf School has been operating since early 2018, starting out as a family-run local business. Rusty Moran’s 40 years of surfing experience as well as his stint as a professional big wave surfer helped ignite his passion for teaching the next generation.

Now we have branched off into Surf Therapy, specifically working with Veteran Surf Project a non for profit charity helping Veterans and First Responders.

PTSD is a serious mental health condition that can have life-changing effects on its sufferers.

We also work with communities to raise awareness of the condition and provide support for those affected by it.

Rusty is currently on track to publish multiple papers based on VSP and the significant mental health improvements that participants have experienced.

Gerringong Surf School is all about teaching Surfing and Skateboarding safety first in a controlled environment that will help all students develop their love for the ocean.
